Dr. Michael DeMarkles is from Arlington, MA. He received his BS from Boston College and his MD from Tufts University. While in medical school he joined the Army where he received his gastroenterology training at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Following his GI training, he remained on staff at Walter Reed where he completed his military obligation. He has been practicing gastroenterology since 1992. He and his wife live on the North Shore and enjoy traveling, photography, cooking, rowing, gardening, and listening to music.
