Karen Fielding is a certified Physician Assistant who joined the practice in June 2022. She received her Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. She started her career working in Emergency Medicine and subsequently transitioned into a hospitalist position with later specialization in gastroenterology. Her passion is working in outpatient medicine as she is able to develop strong patient-provider relationships. She is experienced in managing all acute and chronic gastroenterology conditions. Her clinical interests include liver disease, inflammatory bowel disease, functional bowel disorders, GERD, and colon cancer prevention. Karen is a member of the American Academy of Physicians Assistants and Massachusetts Association of Physician Assistants.
